Close Ratio D Version

We have designed a taller 1st and 2nd gear more suitable for circuit racing than the standard ratios.  We supply a new input shaft and 1st & 2nd output gears which need to be built into the standard gearbox.  This is a cost effective upgrade for improving the standard Kawasaki gearbox for use on the track. NOTE: The gearbox should be assembled using all other genuine Kawasaki gears, bearings, bushes, thrust washers etc. Please contact us if you want other ratios for the standard gearbox, or a full close ratio gearbox manufacturing with racing engagement dogs.

 

Close Ratio F Version

This close ratio conversion has been designed to be similar to the previous model ZX10 and has found to be favorable for endurance racing and the longer road race tracks. The set comprises 2nd input, 3rd/4th input and 1st to 3rd output gears. All engagement dogs are undercut to promote positive engagement and are optimized for racing use. The output gears must be built onto the standard Kawasaki output shaft and a new set of washers, bushes and circlips are supplied, for both shafts.

 

Standard Ratio Gearbox

This kit includes 2nd to 6th input gears and 1st to 6th output gears.  All gears must be built onto the standard Kawasaki input and output shafts and no shimming is required.All engagement dogs are undercut to promote positive engagement.A complete assembly set of washers, bushes and circlips are available at additional cost on request.

 

 Complete Close Ratio Gearbox

We have designed a close ratio gearbox for the latest model Kawasaki ZX10. The set comprises an assembled input shaft and all the output gears.  All engagement dogs are undercut to promote positive engagement and are optimized for racing use. The output gears must be built onto the standard Kawasaki output shaft and a new set of washers, bushes and circlips are supplied, for both shafts.  No shimming is required.

LITA Low Inertia Gearbox

A new input shaft, full set of gears and two output selector forks.  Assemble using standard selector drum, output shaft and input fork. Benefits a) Faster gear changes both up and down the gearbox in 1st-4th gears. B) engagement dogs with varying undercut on drive and overrun sides to give lighter downshifts. C) Ratios optimised for track use to make the very most of engine characteristics, maximising speed and performance on the track. D) Engagement dog angle optimised for racing to give positive shifts, less backlash and stronger dogs.E) No shimming of gears required and increased fork life.</li> <li>Billet material increases the fatigue strength. Comparable cost to kit racing parts. Can be used as an upgrade from an existing full Nova CR box.
